Del makes up most of the brains behind the Jolly Jump’s success over the years. As a volunteer, he has donated countless hours getting our mission across to so many people. He now needs the help of the Jolly Jump himself! He didn’t ask for our help, but you bet he is going to
Jim Marinelli, 57, returned to his job as a Local 88 tunnel worker after the 2016 Christmas and New Year celebrations like many of us: tired. His work as the Project Supervisor for a tunnel building company based out of Baltimore, Md., had him moving between job sites, working night and then day shifts.
Connor & Mick These two lovebirds are taking the plunge, figuratively, next year. And they’re taking the plunge literally, this New Year’s Day, on Rexhame Beach. This power couple is ready to move up the ranks of the Jolly Jump leader board. But they need your help. If there are any other couples jumping together,
Melissa and Kate **** A sincere thank you goes out to the 2016 Holly Jolly Fundraiser. Melissa Henry and Kate Minnehan sponsored and hosted this amazing event. They donated all of the proceeds to this year’s 2017 Jolly Jump. And it was a significant donation. They were able to raise the unbelievable amount of $1,000!
Kristin Woodford **** This veteran jumper has never been much of a daredevil, but each year she doesn’t think twice and braves the cold in support of our cause. In lieu of his Jumping, he’s made a very generous $250 donation to my Jolly Jump profile. Mr. Anderson has included one condition
Rob Poulin carefully clutching the Thanksgiving Day Championship trophy, like a mother cradling her newborn **** Rob Poulin never misses a Jolly Jump. One hell of a golfer too. But back to this kid’s perfect attendance record. Robbie hasn’t missed a Jolly Jump since that party on Billings Road, back in ’08. What a wonderful night. DONATE
The Torpeys getting back to nature **** Wilmington’s own Daniel Torpey, will missile into the Atlantic Ocean on New Year’s Day to help Paddy McDonagh. That said, no harm will come to aquatic wildlife on Rexhame Beach. (Danimal may be the world’s slowest torpedo.) Dan and Shawna have supported the Jolly Jump for years. The day just wouldn’t be the same
