About Deb and Jackie’s Jolly Jump
On New Year’s Day, as the icy Atlantic crashes against the shores of Rexhame Beach in Marshfield, a group of determined souls take the plunge—not just for the thrill, but for a cause close to their hearts. This is Deb and Jackie’s Jolly Jump, a 501(c)(3) charity event dedicated to honoring the legacies of Deborah Fraser and Jackie O’Brien, two incredible women who bravely battled cancer.
What began as a heartfelt tribute has grown into a powerful tradition, bringing together a community of supporters, survivors, and adventurers, all united by a shared mission: to raise funds for families currently facing the fight against cancer. Each year, our jumpers embrace the cold, earning donations in exchange for their commitment to dive into the frigid ocean. They don costumes, rally friends and family, and turn their fundraising efforts into a celebration of strength, resilience, and giving.
But this event is more than just a plunge—it’s a reminder that no one fights alone. With every wave conquered, every cheer from the crowd, and every dollar raised, we extend support to those in need. And while the water may be cold, the warmth of our community never fades.
Whether you’re a seasoned jumper or considering your first leap, we welcome you with open arms, big smiles, and a warm towel. Join us in making a splash for a cause that matters.
